Acceleration modules from ASUTEC ensure a noticeable reduction of the cycle times by shortening the time between the individual machining cycles. The acceleration module ensures that the workpiece to be machined leaves the machining station more quickly and thus the next machining cycle can start earlier. The use of an acceleration module is very effective especially in transfer systems with low belt friction, as in the case of an accumulation roller chain conveyor. As soon as the separator lowers and releases the workpiece carrier for further transport, the acceleration module is activated and pushes and accelerates the workpiece carrier. This makes it possible to shorten the cycle times of up to 2 seconds.

Separators with damping are made for stopping of one or more accumulated workpiece carriers at a defined stop surface of the workpiece carrier in conveyor systems.They are mainly used where the transport speed is in the middle or high range or when the transported workpieces are sensitive to shocks. Because of the damped stopping of the workpiece carrier, the entire conveyor system is prevented from damage and wear. The electrically controlled separators from ASUTEC are available in many different versions. On the one hand, with a motorized drive and integrated evaluation electronics or, on the other hand, with an electrically controlled single-stroke control magnet. The separator from ASUTEC for roller conveyor systems have the advantage that they can be usedfor direct integration into roller conveyors because of the specially developed slim design. These separators stop one or more accumulated workpiece carriers on the defined workpiece carrier stop plate in roller conveyor systems. Especially useful are the separator for tight installation spaces between the rollers. The concept developed by Asutec with extreme stability and high resistance to contamination makes these separators universally applicable. For all ASUTEC separators for roller conveyor systems, it is possible to query the upper and the lowered position with inductive proximity switches.

Typically, the workpiece carrier is lifted by the positioning slightly from the conveyor belt and above pressed against a fixed stop. Thus, the workpiece carrier no longer rests on the conveyor belt and processes on the work piece can occur without vibration. The positioning units are supplied without accessories and have a receiving bore for the insertion of suitable locating pin. The electrical positioning units "ASPEL" from ASUTEC have an electromotive drive and an integrated evaluation electronics.

Angle dampers dampen workpiece carriers to a stop and are mainly used where workpiece carriers are changing direction at a cross-intersection. For example, when the workpiece carrier is changing its transport direction from a transverse section into a longitudinal section and vice versa. Angle dampers are commonly used in transfer systems were shock-sensitive products are transported.

Return stops are used in low-friction transfer systems (eg with accumulation roller chain). They prevent rebounding of the workpiece carrier from the separator in the stopping process. Rebounding the workpiece carriers leads to complications in the control of the workpiece carriers since the workpiece carrier is temporarily not at the presumed position. In addition, rebounding has a negative effect on the cycle time, and the components of the transfer system are more strongly loaded by the multiple impact of the workpiece carrier on the separator. Retrun stops may not be used to stop the workpiece carriers in the conveying direction. During transport ot the workpiece carrier in regular transport direction, the pawl of the return stop is pressed down by the workpiece carrier when moving over it.Retrun stops "ASREL" can be lowered electrically for the reversing operation of the conveyor.
