Mechanical seal details
Notes
*The pump used in the Thermo-Chiller HRS050/060 Series uses a mechanical seal with a fixed ring and a rotating ring in the shaft seal. If foreign matter enters the gap in the seal, it could cause issues such as seal leakage, pump lock, etc., so it is highly recommended that a particle filter is installed on the chiller return piping.
